Deliverables

• To provide a central point for regional strategic planning of WBL Provision eg RDA, RQIP, SSPAs, SFA, YPLA, NAS and Ofsted (All regional priorities)
• To provide one point for direct access to WBL providers' view point/issues/feedback/consultation and quality improvements. (Regional Priority 7)
• To provide a collective view from WBL across the NW completing joint responses to proposed initiatives eg Demand Led Proposals, LLDD strategy etc. (Regional Priority 5 & 6)
• To instigate collaboration between providers across the NW through joint activities, projects and training to address issues such as NEET, worklessness (Regional Priority 1)
• Help in target achievement for key stakeholders by developing projects, activities, training and by sharing of best practice with/for providers. Eg Co-ordination of NW Sector Based Networks, roll out of guidance of Framework for Excellence etc (Regional Priority 7)
• Support for the SFA/RDA by providing a strategic forum to consult with and if needed an operational arm for activity which can no longer be supported internally eg NW Regional WBL Conference, Marketing materials, attendance at promotional events and Equality and Diversity Steering Group. (All Regional Priorities)
• Economies of Scale: provide regional training and development, marketing and communication for NW Providers. Identifying and accessing any funds to support, where applicable.
• Clearly defined communication line to providers and key agencies.
• Regional Mapping of key committees and WBL attendance/representation, e.g. SSPA, WBL Representation.
